If you read my comments I totally said it's wise and advised to get your authority ahead of time in order to show it being active to agents.. That's what I plan on doing as well... Anybody can get their authority all you need is money.. But you show me in your lease where it says prime or success leasing allows you to run under your own authority and you win .. Because here at sfi our program is waaaaaaaaaay better than Prime ripoff lease and they will not allow me or anyone else to run under our own authority.. if you can't provide us with that proof then I'll assume you were blowing smoke and doing a whole bunch of unnecessary chest beating in Wipper thread..

That's not proof his truck he has from Prime is under that authority. That's just a lettee saying he has his authority..i can go get apply and get my authority as well.. Still can't put my truck under it... You people really fall for anything smh..if it was that easy do you know how many people Prime would lose because they could just go get a truck no money down and leave with their authority lmao they'd go out of business.. Come on @drvrtech77 you're smarter than that... I'll settle this I'll be right back lol

 

No where in my lease does it say I can't run under my own authority. You know what, I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else on this board. I try and offer advice and share my experience which this forum is all about and if it doesn't fit your perfect little world or what you belive to be true then it must a lie.

I don't know why they let me take my tractor elsewhere when they won't let others or why they let me get my own authority other then I have been able to prove to them I can run a successful business, make my lease payments on time like clock work every week and keep up my milage charges every month. All I have ever done is meet Success Leasing requirements to take my truck elsewhere and point out in there lease contract where it allowed me to take the tractor to another carrier. Having my authority means I am a carrier and thus must follow the requirements of such.

Here is the section of the lease agreement that says I can take it to another carrier. Please tell me where it says I can't get my own authority?

I wouldn't even be concerned with that anymore you already provided proof and he still doesn't want to buy it.... and he thinks because he was with prime years ago that you you can't... But who says that they just can't modify the contract over time to allow this... I mean things do change so I wouldn't put anything to it

 

I didn't say they don't let guys take their trucks to other carriers..i said they did. They just started that because when I was there 8 years ago you could only work for Prime and that's it there was no switching carriers. But there are guys here at sfi that have prime trucks

 

Lets make this even clearer. Here is the picture of my truck with MY DOT# on the side, not Prime's.

I appreciate it @drvrtech77 . I get very passionate about Prime when people who haven't been there in years or were there for 5 minutes think they know everything there is to know about them and bash there program. It just makes me mad seeing people spread lies because they believe that the path they chose is the only and correct path and everything else is wrong. You know there is more then one way to skin a cat

 

That's a bunch of hearsay where some actual proof from Prime?... You should know better than just to use words from somebody else especially a driver good grief..
