Sorry to hear that.
Seems to be a upswing in cancelling loads here lately. -
I know!!!! I worked 2 months without a load cancellation. Then bang! I had 5 cancellations in 7 days. I was starting to get emotional.

I've had 3 back to back this weekend. I'm in carlisle for the night going to TN in the am then the doctor this is getting worse by the minute.

The C&S chep pallet account is a disaster. Always an issue it seems. Only time it ever was a smooth process was Windsor Locks, and that was one time. The other time I picked up in Windsor Locks it wasn't ready. Picked up in Newburgh, NY and it took 1 1/2 hours for them to print off the bills. Then had to find a yard jockey to move trailers cause mine was blocked in. Then I tried picking up a pallet load at their MA warehouse near the VT/NH border and another schneider driver already picked it up the day before.

All in all things go smooth, but once in a while it all hits the fan at once.
Last night I deliver a load d&h to Gen Mills in Carlisle. Guard gives me an empty number, can't find it. Find jockey and he gives me a door number to get MT. Go 1/2 mile around building, no trailer in door. Go all the way back to find him. He gives me another door, go all the way back, hook up pull out of dock, go to close doors and there's product in the trailer. Put it back and unhook. Go all the way back to find jockey. ( 14hr tick tock, very hungry ). Sends me to receiving. They give me 2 dock number with empties. Go all the way back (1/2 mile each way) hook, crank, go to connect lines. THERE'S AN AIR LOCK ON THE CONNECTOR!!!!! Drive around building again and finally get an MT.
I was really starting to do that laugh / cry thing. Clock running down and needing to eat dinner.mickimause, ew2108 and stevep1977 Thank this. -

Naugh. It's more like the life of a trucker. Most of the time things go smooth. Maybe I just get spoiled some times. All in all I'm very happy.
