You know the Road Glide is coming back, right?

I love my Wide Glide - Harley's answer to choppers :) Sportys are too top-heavy to suit me, even the 1200 Low; I like the lower center of gravity on the big twins. (Caveat - my bike is a 2000, and I haven't seriously looked at new ones in about 4 years). Baggers are just too much stuff on a frame for me, too.

What I think is, get what you like. What you're comfortable riding, one that fits you. No one on this board is riding or paying for it :) Also, keep the shiny side up!

Hubby has a '13 Road Glide Ultra; mostly loves it. He's ticked about the issues he's been having, but that's on the mech that worked on it, not the bike. He's 6'6", so needs a big bike. Otherwise, he looks like a monkey and a football... ;)

I will only buy what I like. I thought I'd just ask to start the conversation. I'm 6 4 and really like the Street Glide but not crazy with all the electronics.

I had a 07 Softail Deluxe and wife had a 05 Screamin Eagle Fatboy. We bought hers because she loved the paint scheme.

Well, he also has a '10 Softail Custom. Extended controls and Tallboy seat (of course) make it a bit easier on him. Much less in the way of electronics, too. I like this one better than his Road Glide, but that's purely aesthetics. I don't ride either of them. The fact that I can't reach the pedals aside, I'm just happy with my little scooter. It fits me, I like the way it handles - don't tell him I said this, but I almost wish it had the balanced engine so it didn't vibrate quite so much - and it sounds awesome with the V&H Short Shots!
