I just asked a friend here's his specs
I did put $5000 down. But Schneider just holds on to it and matches it at the end of my lease. Then they give the money back. Either I can use it to buy the truck outright or I can keep it. My lease is for 5 years. The truck has owner operator specs through Schneider. It does have the swivel passenger seat with table and refridge. Has the full gauge package bunk bed power windows door locks power inverter and tri Pak apu. 455 MX engine with a 13 speed transmission. You can get used trucks through SFI for no money down as well. I almost went that route but I liked the new truck idea with the new truck warranty.

 

Thanks for asking moosc. That would be perfect. Only thing is I've never driven a 13 speed so I'd have to get used to that.

13 speed is definitely nice to have. So Schneider matches your $5k deposit and you walk away with at least $10k? What is the shortest lease you can get on the KW?

 

I have a question 🙋? So the 5k you put down a premium truck, sfi matches it at end of term? Where does that 5k sit? Is it collecting interest? If not why? If so whos getting the intetest?

 

My guess is not the person putting the 5k down.
