That's my whole point. It's like setting your toaster for 2 minutes, but you have to watch it so the toast doesn't burn. It makes no sense what so ever. Fully autonomous vehicles on every road in the world is a very long way off, if ever. If human intervention is required, they aren't fully autonomous.

 

Also, when there's automation involved, the human tends to be more lax and less attentive.

 

Oh yeah, bring on the driverless trucks. The wave of the future of thats going to put us all out of business.

A driver I work with is getting his model 3 in a month. Kind of excited to see it even though we all make fun of him for it. Lol

 

Elon Musk offered to buy back all his Tesla shares today at $420 a piece. LOL

 

So he can go private now. This may be a better thing. I heard his stocks went up $25 by close today.
