Tesla tractor

Our office in Sacramento tested a Tesla semi back in April. No word on any plans on purchasing any units, but I'm sure if we did get any they'd be used for local day deliveries...much like how Pepsi/Frito Lay uses them.

 

There are dreamers and there are realists. The dreamers have to keep the gullible believing in the dreamer’s dream, so the dreamer can keep the money filling the dreamer’s pockets. The realists have moved on.

 

Last I knew, PepsiCo had parked them.

I thought he meant waste management.

 

There is nothing of substance in that article. There’s a thread in this very forum, with actual info of the goings on with them. It doesn’t cast them in a very good light.

 

When we went on vacation in Ireland a few weeks back, we saw a lot of those trucks. 90% of them had the Michelin man on them for some reason. I asked the taxi driver if they dim all those lights at night when you meet them, he said no, they x-ray your brain.

In late 90s early 2000s. I think they might have deterred Seagulls or something....

If by "parked them", you mean use them to operate all over the central valley of CA...then yea they parked them.

I saw 2 driving around just a few days ago.
