    Interesting, never would have guessed.

Glad that trend hasn’t made it to the lower 48 yet. Looks goofy :)

I'm still trying to figure out why every electric vehicle is so fugly?

I know they aren't a full EV but Edison are about the only ones building something that's at least nice to look at.

I wouldn't say they were common when I started in 2010, but I saw them a bunch. Once the cascadias took over, they became much more rare.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Frankly, I think most hood trucks are fugly. Cabovers I can get behind, and vintage trucks that have been restored have a certain charm, but I prefer the look of curves to straight lines.

Myself I've never really cared too much for long hoods. The proportions just look off to me, especially in a daycab. I don't like the full aero trucks either.

Driver said backing up while sitting in the center is awkward and takes some getting used to.

I’d have a hard time with that. I’m that guy that hangs out of the window. I would’ve also probably struggle to figure out how to put a herd bumper on that truck. Let alone afford the maintenance costs. Or try to keep my customer happy by hauling 45K of product.

I just got one piece of advise for the OP if you ever get behind the wheel of one of these things. Right before it's taking a sharp right turn off a cliff it's climbing, make sure you type in the computer "driver is bailing out" that's company policy. LoL
