I appreciate it. Yes, they’re just score keepers & I feel fine about the test it was more just wanting to hear what others feel or went through during their tests to know what NOT to do if anything. But again; I appreciate it.
Awh, thank you soo very much for this! I love hearing stories like this. I’m naturally a nervous person in situations where I care as I feel I’m a perfectionist & just hate to get stuff “wrong..” In this field there is truly no such thing as being perfect in which I’m still trying to wrap my head around but I’m learning more to let stuff be & trust the process. I feel confident in testing.. just like you said; it’s very nerving to having someone over your shoulder during an already high stressed situation. BUT I will use your words of advice & support while applying them to my test!! THANK YOU AGAIN!
Might just work…it did for my sister and she even jumped a curb on the way back into the dmv I saw her do it lol. All the testers were ladies at the time but I can’t think of any other explanation. it took me three times though. first time because I kinda ran a stop light. Well I went into it on a left turn as it was turning yellow only because it’s an intersection that you can barely make if someone pulls all the way up to the stop line and no one was there so I went. it turned red before I was through. fail number one. next time I got a little to ambitious and grabbed the next gear leaving a red light but wasn’t in the intersection yet so idk and that didn’t go over well. third time I got it though. Kinda things you do when you have some prior driving experience and hard to break those habits
Awh, this made me smile! 3rd time is a charm … although I can’t lie I BETTER get it right the first time. Lol. Thank you for your words & experience. I pray I turn wide enough under pressure, check all mirrors vigorously, keep under posted speed, start & finish correctly, indicate & single intent, no rolling stops, no phone, keep windows down to hear RR, stop/slow at RR & explain my out, etc! I GOT THIS LOL. THANKS AGAIN!
It would be more local but You might try to find a larger farm for some low pressure driving. The only stressful part is at the grain terminal. You have to be aggressive or you’ll never get your load dumped not to mention most of those places are like a small town with no street signs. Might get to move some heavy equipment or pull a tanker some of them have all kinds of stuff some also run otr on the side. Just some thoughts
