Texaco Roberts, LA

Just came out of Geaux 2 cafe at B and J truck stop on hwy 445 in Robert, LA. Let me tell you, todays special was butter bean soup with sausage and rice, a breaded pork chop and a side of corn bread. They have this vidalia onion and peach hot sauce from berryland which goes great with pork chop. Pretty much the best meal ive had in a few weeks. This was todays special and they were smoking some brisket when I was walking in. Ill have to try that next time. Down home feel to it. Great service. If you have not stopped in here yet, I suggest you do it. Downside is they are only open from 6-2/ 7 days.

The truck stop itself is just a convenience store with a small pay to park lot in the back but its free if your just stopping in to eat. No showers, no lounge, but there is a bar next door called something daquiris. Most trucks here are delivering to Walmart it seems.
