I don't know your state process. My state never mails a CDL. It is delivered hand-to-hand at the DMV office. Call your state DL office or read their web site. Your state may not allow walk-in but require appointments. I DON'T KNOW YOUR STATE process.

I just took the hazmat test the other day in Fort Worth. I already had the tanker/doubles/triples. The lady doing the paperwork didn't seem to know what she was doing.

The top right of my temporary paper permit says endorsement code X, T. Did they give you a 3 month paper permit after you passed your hazmat test?

It looks like if a driver has an X, it covers the H and the N.

 

You can get your driving record online for four dollars. It will show the endorsements on your license and list whether or not your medical certificate is on file.

Glad I read this.i noticed the dps sent me a license w/o hazmat on it. I recently added it and erroneously thought "haz" was hazmat. It was my eye color.
I passed my hazmat test but flunked doublestriples.i got my background finished ok. BTW, I had hazmat yrs ago and am exempt from the course.
When I came back off the rd, I went in and took and passed the dubs and trips.but the license I got in the mail showed hazmat and dubs and trips b4 I retook it. They screwed up and gave me the endorsement on the license. I should have kept my mouth shut,because now I see my license has everything but hazmat. Now I have to go to the office again.i should have looked the temporary over closer, but what a bunch of incompetent people work there. Complicated story to read but I have to deal with it.
