Not really... what a bad deal. I can't begin to imagine spending 27 years of my life in jail for something I didn't do.

What a waste. As I've said before, we don't have a "justice" system, we have a "legal" system.
25(2)+2 and Texas-Nana Thank this. -
I have an observation; the prosecutor's office should be commended for correcting an injustice. They can also be commended for reviewing old cases.

Can someone explain to me why an innocent man has to pay a $500 bond?
Another innocent man at the end of the article also had to post bond. WTF??
shriner75 Thanks this. -
I was thinking the same Scarecrow. Maybe it was for staying at the iron bar hotel. Or a gratuity tip for the kind service he got. Who knows but he still did something.

it almost seems like the prosecutors dont care who they pin the crime on as long as it pinned on someone. regardless if it makes sense
truckerdave1970 and 25(2)+2 Thank this.
