I am surprised the crude guys earn less than the sand guys. Always thought we were at a disadvantage with sand. Anyways, the rates are only good while truckers haven't flooded the area. The recruiting companies run a very hard campaign and in the end, truckers will be competing for everything including loads and trailers.

I was there in 2019 and nearly everyone who I met and kept in touch is out of there. It is worse than OTR especially when the competing starts. I never recouped my investment. Getting a dedicated route earning me 1.90 per mile was better than sand hauling.

He probably can if he's a mover and a shaker. The potential is certainly there. Of course nobody is giving away any money. You gotta be willing to work.

With Sand Revolution if you do 2 loads a day you'll make $1,800 a week. If all you do is just 2 loads a day then you suck! The top drivers are getting in 4 to 5 loads a day. I average 3 loads a day with a pneumatic that takes alot longer to unload.

As this is an old thread, from my observations, depending on the particular job site, I’ve seen lines of trucks nearly a mile long waiting to unload. 3-4 hour wait not uncommon.
