I have NEVER heard THAT..I have been taught as a child,get OUT of the vehicle,and if nothing else,lie down in a ditch..STAY in a vehicle? NEVER..Or a trailer home,camper,etc. If your from "Tornado Alley" in KS,YOU should know better.

Yep I do, that was in response to a conversation on here last year that said the rule about abandoning your vehicle was changed. Didn't make sense to me then and proof of why it doesn't make sense is clearly demonstrated by the footage of this tornado.
