What good is your benefits if you're driving equipment that'll kill you?...I'm not joking either...I've even interviewed with local media on them after they got caught with defective equipment and falsifying records on it too...

answer my question?

I left TTE this year after getting tired of watching some guys get 5-7 loads, meanwhile I would get 2-3 loads. Some days they would give the truck I was assigned to away and leave me waiting for another with no pay for waiting, meanwhile they wouldn't give away other guys trucks. They pretty much have their favorites. So I got tired and walked off the job, I came in and I had no route and no truck, I sent a text to Jeff Bonner and made him aware that this happened once too many times, I told him I was done.
After I quit I tried to apply at other fuel companies, after being denied twice, I started asking why? I've never had a problem getting a job, both my criminal and driving record is clean, she tells me safety wouldn't approve my application, so I asked her why? And she replied "TTE has you listed as terminated and not eligible for rehire due to exceeding company safety points." But then she tells me that EVERY APPLICANT that they've hired from TTE has gotten the SAME response in the employment verification that I'm not the only one, I couldn't believe it, I won the employment case against TTE, they lied and said the same thing, I had to dispute the unemployment case, I actually had to show text messages from Jeff Bonner and dispatch of me saying that I quit, and also showing the reason why I quit, which was because my check was short every week, I wouldn't get demurrage pay, along with other issues I addressed with the operations manager through text going back several months not just one week, Steve from safety was the one who handled the unemployment claim against me, which I ended up winning the case and got my unemployment pay, so I can see why he's upset and seeking revenge.
So this Thursday I called and spoke with Meagan whos Steve's assistant and verifies employment, I asked her to go over my history because I quit and only have two write ups, I tell her in your TTE policy it states you need over 10 points in a year to be terminated for safety, which I do not have, she agrees that they made a mistake(i recorded this conversation for my records). She then has me tell the new fuel company resend verification, after they send it back the HR lady tells me they wrote terminated but no reason, I'm like you gotta be kidding me. I call TTE again
And spoke with Steve the safety person who I am on bad terms with because I had to prove he was lying to win the unemployment claim, he then tells me that I was terminated, that he will not fabricate a fake story just so I could get a job, I reminded him that I quit and you lied about it, that's why I won the unemployment case, he then got upset and hung up on me(i have this conversation receded). Now I have to contact Randy Googins? The VP of TTE who's above Steve to try and rectify this.
I may have to take legal action at this point, point of the story is, keep your records, get things in writing before you quit, they will try to prevent you from getting a job in the fuel industry.
Review about the job, benefits weren't cheap, minimum load pay $44, wait time is supposed to be $15 an hr after the first 30 minutes but they don't pay out half the time, split load is $10, and they're flexible with the hours. Would of been a good job if dispatch didn't have favorites and divided the work equally. Holding a truck for some ad's not others is not the way it should be, mechanics are always on site, my issue is with payroll, not getting the right pay based on the actual miles, not getting wait time, and if you want to dispute any money missing on your check you have to fill out a long form with each bol, name, time, etc for each amount, so if you're short $15 for wait time from one job that's one form to fill out, $4 from another one another form, basically a form for each discrepancy, you cannot dispute everything at once, which pretty much deters you from wanting to sit there for an hour filling out paper work to get those missing $60-100 a week you're short, you pretty much have to do payroll. -

What time does the day shift start verses the nite shift? I heard 12 hr shifts . What does the average pay workout too? Weekly? Oh and do they pay every two weeks or every week?
-
Anyone still with TTE?
-
I'm in the process of getting hired with TTE.
I was informed its 12 hour shifts starting at 5-6pm each day. My interview was really good and he described/explained what the work and pay would be. I start in a week. -

Yeah, I've read your previous posts concerning them. I've been hauling a flatbed for a couple of years. It's very inconsistent due to construction highs and lows. TTE is the only one that is giving me the opportunity to get into the fuel hauling industry. I've applied at many.
Any comments on the Tyler terminal?
