Texas Trooper T-Bones Amazon Truck

Wow... I get it that the cop had his lights on (and I’m assuming siren), but he sure was sending it hard through that red light. They usually slow down a LITTLE when they go through intersections.

I never thought I would say this in a million bazillion years but I think I have to side with the Amazon truck on this one.

 

Sad. Trucker didn't hear & the trooper has to slow down at intersection to make sure it is clear.

 

Sadly thay amazon driver is screwed. They will nail him with so many tickets even a #### pin cusion is going to be winceing.

 

We do. It is clear. The physics shows what happens when you disregard the laws of physics. Still sad outcome

 

No true Amazon had the light and was moving already

 

In this day and age....i doubt it. I dispite being pro police trust them about as far as i can throw them because they are still a government agency. I hope im dead wrong but.....well recent history suggests they will hang the driver out to dry and use something stupid to do it if required. Again hope im wrong but meh the government is going to want its 50 pounds of flesh

 

I would definitely be curious to see how this turns out. I’m sure they will be picking apart his logs and will almost certainly find some reason why he shouldn’t have been there. And it’s Amazon so odds are pretty good they will find plenty.

Rescue and enforcement vehicles have certain protocols to follow in many jurisdictions… one buddy use to drive ambulance and it was rare that he was able to exceed speed limit by 10%.. another is a cop and if they have the plate number he’s only allowed to do so much.. red lights don’t mean you can put the public at risk.. PS kudos to dash cammer for blocking intersection to protect officer
