What gets me about the text message system. They charge you for incoming messages also, whether you read them or not. Getting pictures sent to you, can get pricey also. I called AT&T, told them to shut off these services. I don't want to receive nothing but a phone call. I finally have a consistent bill :yes2557:

At least US Cellular doesn't charge for incoming calls, text or picture messages. We have a package that covers all 5 lines on our cell account for unlimited text.

LOL.. I hear these complaints everyday. I actually am not a truck driver but I love reading these boards. I wouldn't mind truck driving I just couldn't stand being away from my family. I'm actually a AT&T Mobility Representative, I'm in Ohio, and we take care of the southeast of the US. So Southern Kentucky, and on down. If you don't have a text package its $.20/msg for regular text, and $.30/msg for Multimedia messages. Actually if you have AT&T/Cingular and you don't want text messaging at all, call today and have them add feature code TMX0. Becareful which companies you send text messages back to,with AT&T it is very easy to get a monthly subscription added to your account. When you recieve the message it's automatically billed, to take care of this you can add a purchase blocker.
