    I have been a truck driver since 1988. I just wanted to thank everyone on here in advance for any help you may have to offer. And for all you guys and gals out there pounding the pavement on a daily/nightly basis, it is a pleasure to drive out there with you, most of you that is.
    The company I presently drive for is going out of business in the beginning of March, they lost their hauling priveledges, and a new carrier is re-hiring drivers from our terminal. Pay is much LESS, so forth. I would like information on this new carrier, RUAN Transportation.

    Welcome Truckin15825! The creators of this site have a separate forum here "Motor Carrier Questions" where they have a pretty extensive list with a lot of information you may find useful.

    You can also do a Google search "Ruan Transportation Reviews" and see what comes up. Also, you can check out www.indeed.com (job search engine) where there are many companies listed and you can read up current reviews of current & past employees. You could check www.ripoffreport.com (consumer vent forum) to see if there are any complaints listed for that company. Finally, if you know where their corporate office/HQ is located, you can check that state's licensing/regulatory board and obtain information on a particular company.
