I'm sorry, but this thread seems to be created with the sole purpose of blaming someone else for your troubles. Grow up and accept the consequences of your own actions.

Any charge that is "dismissed" in court never happened. So why mention it ?

Since when does going to AA disqualify a person for employment?

I'm quite sure there are more than a few among us who have been or currently are AA attendees. There also some among us who have been convicted of various crimes from overdue library books all the way up to Manslaughter. They have been successfully driving, some for decades...others for just a few months. I know people within Prime who have worse things on their records than public intoxication and were real, actual convictions.

So I'm confused. Is there a problem with when it happened? Are we hearing all of it? Is there something else like a failed pre-hire wizz quiz? Some kind of health issue? I'm genuinely curious now.

because they ask about incarcerations... in lamen terms that means arrested. And I was arrested for it. I was just found not guilty.

Yeah your right I should not blame anyone but myself because I made the choice to tell them. So sorry or that, but still the situation sucks. I have revolved everything around this, and 4 days before I am supposed to leave.... I cannot go...

Nope, for prime you cannot have been arrested within the last 4 years. And I was. They said even though the case was dismissed I had to do 10 aa meetings for it to be dismissed. Same as guilty I guess... It was the easy way out instead of driving 4 hours one way to fight it.

Man it does suck, but pick up your pride and apply for other companies. Its not the end of the world.

I dont have the money to pay for school. That is one big reason I was going to go through prime.

There are other companies that sponsor training. Prime isn't the only fish in the ocean. There are tons of jobs posted that pay for training!
