From what I have read here I would go with SWIFT. Regarding your posts and coming hear for suggestions, I know that you are frustrated because you can't get started because of mistakes you have made in the past. I myself am patiently waiting for driving violations and my own....ahem .. indiscretions from years past to meet company hiring criteria's. Saying that, it really does you no service to come here and ask for driver's opinions, and then become angry with and insult their knowledge or them because of your frustration. Yeah, there are some that make holier-than-thou smarta** comments, but the majority have given me very good and helpful advice. If you are going to slap them in the face because they hold no punches and tell you how it is (from their own experiences), they will not assist you at a later date. Believe me when I say, I have learned a HUGE amount of information in 3 months. Information that would have taken me years of hassles and frustrations to learn on my own. IN fact, I am snipping bits and pieces and making my own personal Truck Driving and How to Survive Over The Road book to have with me at all times. Invaluable information here.
Good luck with the company that gives you an opportunity. That is all you can ask them to do for you. It will be up to you to make the most of it.
thanks

There are many threads here about each of them, as well as most of the others in the industry.
Instead of asking for a simple answer "is this one better than that one", you may find that if you go read about them, you can make up your own mind which will be best for you. -
You have met our preliminary qualifications to attend CR England Premiere Truck driving school! Please be advised that there are some additional requirements you will need to meet to obtain a Class-A license. We will issue you a DOT physical in which you will need to pass an eye exam with 20/30 vision (with or without corrective lenses), blood pressure rating of 140/90 (or less) and have no pending health concerns. CR England is required to administer drug testing once you become an employee to be in compliance with DOT. You will also be taking a Class-A permit test within the first few days of school. You may visit our website to take the practice tests at http://crengland.com/truckingjobs/index.jsp?page=/etools/corp_tests/tst_front_web ahead of time. Your local DMV will have a copy of the book at no cost to use as a study guide. We recommend that you study "General Knowledge", "Air Brakes", and "Combination Vehicles" sections.
