    If you have been reading here then you have seen all the threads about not having to settle for a less than desirable company. And the others that say you never have to go OTR before getting a local gig.

    But I was glad to have my year of "regional" OTR experience before getting my dedicated route with the same company. Then moving to intermodal in Chicagoland. It gave me much experience in a moderate learning pace.
