    I agree one solution is not a fit all remedy for the entire industry. I don't believe that the government. Should force E-Logs on anyone. The guys that use them and like them cool beans. It's none of my business if a guy violates the HOS E-log or paper honestly. I understand you feel forced or have no choice, however anything is better than putting my wife and daughter or yours at that kinda risk. I'm not trying to be holier than thou in any way. Just trying to get you to see there is a time to call the dogs and shut er down

    Its already there if the system administrator for your companies elogs has put it in as an allowable option.

    I'm not sure exactly what elogs my company uses but in my truck when the truck is not in motion and I bring up my log for the day, at the top of the screen are a couple of tabs that can be clicked on... One is "options", in it I can then select "change mode", which then presents me with 3 buttons to choose from... "Normal", "roadside audit", and "personal conveyance"... I have used personal conveyance once on this elog system... To show it on the log graph it highlights the period of "off-duty" time that I was driving in personal conveyance with the color blue.

    No I was miles away from anything. So no choice. Could not hold it any longer high fiber issue I think. Sure did smell up truck until I found a garbage can.

    So you drove to the end of your clock and stopped? Then after being on break in a place with no place to ####, you choose to #### in bag.

    If you were on paper would you have stopped in the same place?

    Have you ever been on paper?

    For the drivers that be have always been leashed you will never know what you missed and all should find a safe place to hide.

    Sorry I guess it was a personal issue that day not really a eld issue. But I think I was trying to make it to a destination before my drive clock was time up. 20171226_020055.jpg

    This is the issue with ELD, drivers feel pushed to do things that they may not do if they could make a decision for themselves.

    Did you really spend 22 hours in SB?
