The $500 a week pay during cdl training

Some places tell you that you get $500 a week. When you actually get a minimum wage based on the hours you work. To escape overtime they won't give the true information in writing. It's a pretty bad rip off, in my opinion. Bait and switch at its best...

 

What company? I know Prime pays 700/wk gross after you have CDL (for tnt) unless you go over 5,000 miles, then it is 14cpm.

 

Oh, Roehl. I responded from the new posts section, saw the original post location after hitting send. Not sure how they roll for training pay, although, most of their drivers I have come across are happy with them as a company.

 

I guess its better then nothing. At US xpress it would ZERO pay during CDL training then after you got your CDL it was $70 dollars a day riding with a trainer training (I mean running teams) for 175 hours which takes about 4-5 weeks to complete.

 

It's only $500 that week, according to my recruiter. Since you have a little layoff right after your training, to get your CDL in your state, and wait for your trainer, you will get the other pay checks during those 2 weeks.
