Feel free to move this thread wherever it need be, I didn't know where to put it.:biggrin_2556:

So, I went to sage filled out the paperwork. I have done it, jumped in, taken the steps and am starting on my path. There are alot of risks (Some I have not mentioned of the personal nature) and alot of pitfalls (That you all know about that come with trucking!) But...I am taking the steps, I am putting my trust in the prehires, the dogma, and the people here. And with your help, I hope my confidance will remain high enough to make it through..

If sage says no because of my credit score or whatever, I was also told at another school they WILL finanace me because of the preapproval letter, but I dunno, thats my fear is the lack of finanacing right now, after that...well thats whole nother story.

Wish me luck, and I will update you guys every step of the way if you care to hear it.

Well, They want me to find a co-signer for the loan to go to Sage, and as I don't have one or anyone able to, looks like that idea gets shot to hell and back. Back to the drawing board I suppose.

Don't despair, this is just a minor detour. You'll encounter these from time to time as a driver. Get in touch with Schneider, Swift and others that offer in-house CDL training and you'll be back on track.

Schneider said they are not taking any inhouse atm (so sayth the automated machine thingie) and Swift has no schools here, Central, CR, and Martin turned me down due to career gap. But Have a prehire from swift, Im stil working on it.

I am also a little worried about my own personal memory when I was younger, 18-20 (im 30 now) I may have had my licence suspended I dont remember for sure, one lady told me just check no because they 'dont look too far back' but i read on here that if i do and they find out i might as well give up my cdl.

seems harsh for makinga honest mistake

Tell them you had it suspended at age 18, tell them the approximate dates, and let them go from there. They hate surprises, but a positive surprise of not finding any suspensions on your license will help you. More than likely, they wont even look back that far. I think it's only 7 years or so.

BTW: During that date gap, you made an attempt to "work for yourself" in your own startup business doing "whatever". It just didn't work out.
