Question: Schneider Finance used to list specific equipment for sale, but I can't seem to find that any longer, only generic pics of new equipment by brand. I'm still looking at going on the Choice program. Thanks.

think you have to start the process with them to get access? Maybe give the specs you are looking for then they offer choices from there?

One of these guys will be along soon enough with answer and a contact #?

    Good to see you again.

They were having too much trouble keeping the list up to date and too many guys "reserving" trucks and not following thru.

The thinking is take a few cooks out of the kitchen and the soup tastes better.

I'm thinking that might be the case. Last year one was able to brouse available inventory freely.

You have to call to talk to a recruiter. Though they're not called that. They're called customer relationship managers. Really easy to do. My recruiter is Jolene. She is great. I told her exactly what I wanted in a truck and she told me all the ones that meet my criteria. They have a lot of used trucks, which is what I got. They also have trucks in several locations, not just Green Bay. Or so she told me.

    Hope this helps....

This is absolutely correct. You have to get thru the recruiter (Glenn) if you're a company driver and the pre-screener (Tim) and then you get to talk to the SFI rep who will email you a list or tell you whats available. They do have several used trucks available but are really pushing the new trucks. Just a note on that; if you pick anything that's not super old or a Freightliner you will be required to make a down payment. Terms vary based on the age of the truck and your experience. For example. DFO got a 52 week lease with zero down (if I remember correctly). I got a 104 week lease with 2k down. DFO got a Cascadia, I got a KW. When you ask for a list by email it will list everything they have available along with the required down payment and the length of the lease.

I got a 2011 freightliner on a 52 week lease with zero down. Also for company drivers your dbl and your dbl's boss (safety manager)have to sign off that you are good to go.
