Support shift is sleeping right now. They should wake up and update the load board within the next 5 hours

It took me an hour to get them on the phone to put my pick up empty task back on my assignment.

DFO I went thru a DOT check back in 04 and the officer and I was talking and come to find out he worked under my father in the coal mines back before my father was killed in 81. I am always nice when I am dealing with the law enforcement as they have a job to do and if you are nice chances are they will be also.

Rickybobby don't say never because as soon as you say that you are gonna get pulled. At least it never fails with me.

    rickybobby Thanks this.

Saw that one and thought about it, but doesn't pay well enough going into FL to make it worth it, especially considering how badly I'd eat it coming out of FL.

So uhh the load just popped up again and I assigned it. LOL. It doesn't pick up until the 4th though. I gave my brain about 5 seconds to YES or NO on clicking assign, and my gut told me to mash that button so I did it. If I can find some short loads to run in-state over the next few days I might, though I'll have to call in to my ICA so I can get them put before this current load. Otherwise, I'll be chillin out at the truckstop for a few LOL.

I know its probably not the best idea to have booked it without any other loads in front, but I really want to run it. And I mean REALLY want to run it. I've never run a load like that and man I just want to do it, for me. 1796 miles. I should be able to get it to the delivery by the end of this pay period, and it pays so well that even if I only run that one load this week I'll still have all my payments and fuel covered AND still bring home around 1k. So why the **** not, only live once right?

    Lonesome and tynodine Thank this.

actually, and for future reference, freight out of Jacksonville really doesn't pay bad at all.....not like the rest of florida anyway. Man, that load oughtta pay real good if you're gonna wait 5 days to pick it up.......like north of $3k

On a side, and otherwise unrelated note, I'm on day 4 of my "all burrito, every meal" experiment.......man it stinks in here right now

I know there is a Thanks button we can click but it is a post like this one that makes me wish we had a TMI option for us to click on.
Careful, if you keep up this diet you are going to have to placard...

Yep, it does. Only reason I booked it. Hopefully I can find a few short runs in between and get my ICA to work with me to put them on, but if not, not the end of the world, got some stuff I can do to keep me busy. 3 day wait, don't think I could do 5 days.

And dude, 4 days of burritos? I'm pretty sure I can smell it from all the way down here. I'll admit I laughed out loud at reading "all burriot every meal" experiment. Ya'll are a friggin hoot.
