Taking my 30 in Bridgewater VA then will finish up the rest of the trip to Carlisle tonight. Gotta deliver in Mechanicsburg tomorrow then back to Carlisle for my pickup. Then its off to NC, then drop that trailer and bobtail HOME for a bit. Got some stuff I need to take care of, as well as an itch to just take a break from the truck! Depending on how I feel after making the pickup in Carlisle I may just go back to the OC and spend an extra night there. Just depends on how I feel, since I'm headed home I'm not on a timeline by any means so I'll just play it by ear.

Chicknwing thought he was sneaky with his wake up call this morning, little did he know I knew it was him before he even got out of the truck, the turbo in his ISX makes a very unique sound and when he drove up to my drivers side I knew it LOL. A combination of me being a light sleeper and my truck ninja skills have me covered. That's right, truck ninja. WATCH OUT.

Ended up rolling into the fuel pumps at the Carlisle OC, checking the location of the drop in Mechanicsburg on my laptop on Google maps, turning and going right back out the gate. Time for some midnight cruising through Carlisle PA. What is usually a 30 minute gridlock session down US-11 turns into me cruising through every green light at 10 MPH below the speed limit with 2 4 wheelers behind me, not passing, but just enjoying the cruise as well apparently. I LOVE trucking at night. So relaxing. Got to the delivery, but no empties, so bobtailed out of there. Headed back to the OC. Took the turnpike this time. Stopped through at the Blue Beacon figuring it was open. Nope. Good thing I didn't have a trailer so I could u-turn and go out the wrong way LOL. So back to the OC. New empty task showed up while I was bobtailing back to the OC. Wanted me to go 39 miles in the wrong direction and then 30 miles back the pickup in Carlisle. HOW ABOUT NO. Find an empty in the Carlisle lot. Its newer. And empty. And just sitting by itself. This seems too easy, like some kind of a trap. Checked it with the shop, no problems. Called in to support shift. Wait time? 30 seconds. Told them I found an empty at Carlisle and to put that one on my preassignment instead. No problem, fixed by the time I used the restroom and came back out to the truck. Again... it all seems too easy. I won't believe it until I get out of the gate tomorrow.

ANYWAY... still not sure if I'll leave Carlisle tomorrow, or just go pick up the load and then come back to the OC for another night. I need to fuel but don't really want to fuel on this weeks pay period for next weeks loads. No hurry, so will probably just relax and hang around here tomorrow. If anyone is coming through let me know.

No my truck ninja suit consists of a mudflap loin cloth, a reflective safety vest and schneider's boots from training.

Stopped at the Atlanta OC tonight for the first time. Circled around twice looking for the fuel pumps till I realized they were in a building LOL. Not a bad place though.

hey man. By reading your posts I got myself applying with Schneider a recruiter asked me who referred me so that that driver can receive the cash. Well, the thing is that they won't recognize you by Dieselfuelonly. Hmu!
