Yeah W9 or 379 or T800 is what I'm looking for. Easier to work on. Hate having the engine buried halfway behind the firewall.

Still hangin out at home, got one more truck to check out before I head back out, but with the holiday weekend the seller won't be back till Tuesday. Didn't want to risk not being able to get back here with the (lack of) holiday loads, so just gotta wait it out.

So far haven't had the best of luck. Of course the first W900 I talked about earlier was sold and the guy is supposed to be picking it up on Tuesday.

Then I took another look at another W900 with a N14/13spd, but this one had coolant leaking from the head gasket so I said nope and handed back the keys.

Then I looked at a Western Star with a Detroit S60 and a 13spd, engine was a reman with 60k miles on it. Nice truck, bit more than I wanted to pay. Until I saw the coolant. All over the place. Guess what? Another headgasket. Nope.

So, found another local W900 with a 3406E CAT and a 13spd I will check out on Tuesday. Not getting my hopes up, but never hurts to wait and see. Supposedly had an overhaul 300k ago, and a new trans and front rear end 120k ago and the front end has been redone. We will see what kind of paperwork exists for that supposed work.

Hope this one does not have coolant leaking all over the place.
