I live just 45 mins from charlotte and im getting a new freightliner. She said they would be some new ones come in on the 12th in platinum color. Didnt care what color but they reserved me one. I emailed her about any used t680's in green bay never got a response.

has anyone re-up'd a one year lease at the residual amount..curious as to what that did to your truck payment and maintenance fund..I need to know how much this truck will cost to keep it throughout the lease till I own it..considering buying one elsewhere but not crazy about throwing 15,000 down

I didn't, but had the option to. I started with a 1 year lease on a used Cascadia valued at $80k. At the end of the lease I owed $54,000. They gave me a few options:

Get a check for the $10k I had in the maintenance account, renew the lease for 2 years, get title at end of 2 years, payments were $574/week

    OR

Put the $10k in the maintenance account down on the truck, renew lease for 1.5 years, get title at the end of 1.5 years, at $610/week

After the 1 year I didn't have to do a SFI-required maintenance account since I had shown that I could manage that myself without contributing to SFI's managed account.

My previous TRUCK payment for the 1 year lease was $693/week, so it would drop to $574/week or $610/week depending on which I chose. I decided to turn it back in and bought my own truck with a payment of around $100/week, lol.
