Woo hoo made it to Charlotte. Waiting impatiently for 5am to come so they can look at my truck. It will be interesting to see how picky the shop is. Hopefully not too bad and I can get out of here soon and get some loads done before the end of next week. Have to be home for some family stuff.

Well I already have to have a $250 guard welded to my 5th wheel to prevent the bolt that sticks out the front from getting damaged. According to the mechanic this is mandatory because "if I hit it with the trailer (which by the way the only way I could hit it would be by high hooking the trailer and then pulling foward) then I can damage it and won't be able to hook to the trailer". Well, ****, using this logic I should be forced to install a giant steel bumper so that when I run into a wall I don't damage my truck. WTF? Sounds like SNI gets these plates at a discount and then upsells them to ICs by forcing them to put them on?? WTF?

I thought they still did that with Holland plates. Holland still makes the best 5th wheel though, don't get too discouraged.

Why what's A couple more weeks? Crazy weather, crazy four wheelers, stupid holidays, plus maybe what 12 more days till freight starts dropping. Yeah I'd stay home a polish my wheels then deal with this mess.

Seriously doubt it, but I'm still just waiting. How long did they take to go through yours? They started on mine at 5am, it's 6:50 now.

It'll be the easiest of the easiest loads that I'll pull. I'm probably not gonna go anywhere far from home until I get comfortable with the truck... gonna give it time for any issues to show up before I blast off to another area of the country.
