DFO , I've enjoyed reading your posts. When I was young I used to worry about what could go wrong. But
I made a decision not to worry. Things will happen and we just have to deal with it. The older I get, the less I worry. Remember, worrying is just a waste of time and energy.
I hope some time off will give you time to relax and get whatever help you need.
We get one life. No use in being stressed out.
I think you'll get it figured out.
    Good luck,man.

Keeping you in our prayers DFO.

Hopefully you will find peace soon. Finding the right doctor can be a huge help, too bad its not always easy to do so.

I had similar issues at my last trucking job. Thought I was just gonna take time off to get better but then the company decided they just wanted to be done with me. Anyway, it took me like 3 different meds (including citalopram) before finding one that helped my symptoms and didn't have many adverse side effects. I take buspirone. Schneider knows and said as long as it didn't make me drowsy it was fine. The only downsides are I can't have any grapefruit or grapefruit juice, and there are some painkillers that I can't take because it reacts with the buspirone and makes me mean.

I should clarify - the painkillers were after I had surgery and after I hurt my back last fall. They aren't a regular thing :)

Man my anxiety started a few years ago. I went through hell and 30k in medical bills before I got help. I even filed bankruptcy because of it. I eventually said enough and asked a doctor about DOT approved medicine s and got on citalopram (celexa). It took 2 weeks for it to really start working like most anti depressants do. Still drive local but still looking into choice program. Good luck man. I know its rough and I hate medicine but I hate anxiety for taking my life away for years. It gets better just gotta find that median I gues.

I'm having one of those "extremely small fricking world" moments today. I uploaded a little video to YouTube of testing my steering wheel controls after I removed everything to clean up some corrosion. After I uploaded it, in the sidebar was another video of a "2003 Kenworth T600" that looked a lot like mine.

I started watching it... hold up... this thing looks a LOT like mine.

Then I noticed the wheels looked different and got kinda disappointed. Then I kept watching... step is the same... IT HAS THE 3RD FUEL TANK.... then the final thing, the red light that the previous owner installed under the bottom of the console. THIS IS MY FREAKING TRUCK!!!

Before I bought it, the previous owner purchased it at 700k something miles. Looking at the details of that video, here it was at 717k miles right before that owner purchased it. Obviously he changed the wheels out from 22.5 to 24.5.

Just thought it was so cool to run across my truck in its previous life.
