Seeing young female drivers handling these big trucks like they're nothing along with the rest of us....Big Ahhhh! (Some of them aren't nice at all to talk to......unsociable...booooooo!)
Lol well I am not young, but am female. I do as well as I can "handling" our truck, yet there are times when the extra help or advise is very welcome. I have yet been unsocialable an have met many unsocialable fellas! lol We were at a repair shop awhile back an the Fella made the assumption that the speaker on the right was mine, needless to say I corrected him...in a friendly way! Boy was he embarrassed lol
Now,now.,Dont stomp off..Think of it this way.,YOUR still YOUNG..-if the man talking to you is REALLY old.. Just tryin to help,I think..
************************* I once had to swap loads with another Werner driver in Flagstaff once upon a time. This driver was late, but I didn't really care because I was tired. When this driver arrived at the truck stop, I was pretty shocked to see a short younger woman driving a Kenworth. I honestly didn't know how she could even reach the floor pedals! That was my "Ahhhh" moment. Finding out that she was an actual basket case was a major red flag though. Is it too late for me to say that another "ahhhh" factor would be the fact that you're a successful lease operator at a large company? (For risk of me sounding both corny and feminine), You go girl!
Driving 89 through Utah, especially around Big Rock Candy Mountain. If you get there around sunrise or sunset the mountains shimmer and glisten as though they're covered in glitter. It is breathtaking. Driving at night on 89 with a good snow covering, the moonlight reflects on the snow so brightly it's as though it's daylight. Amazingly beautiful. I too, love the visuals.
