Have you heard of internet seach engines, like google or duckduckgo? Search for directions on how to enter hidden words on your resume or application.

In a word processor program you type words in the space between paragraphs, then you select those hidden words, and change the color of the text to white. You can go to YouTube and search for videos showing how to do this.

All co's use different ways to do background checks. Some have positions where the "recruiter" does double duty, in the morning she's a recruiter, after lunch she's doing payroll. Most co's will get 50 apps to fill 2 positions. I couldn't imagine owning a 1000 truck operation worth millions and having to find and choose qualified drivers to get the job done. I cringe when watching the evening news and it shows snowy highways somewhere with 15 big rigs jacknifed and messed up pretty badly. I can see the safety guy at home taking phone calls from drivers. "boss, i just jacknifed on the I-90, truck is damaged badly. need $100 advance to get a room" ! You think the hiring process is a joke, wait till you attend orientation with 25 other new hires !

I agree with all of the replies up to this point. Here is the thing. It blows, I know, but you are not owed a reply or an interview. What I am wondering is how many carriers still use paper applications? The world of AI is doing things that still blow what's left of my mind. I also just read where power bills in the northeast US are going up because of all the power required to operate the server farms that drive AI. However, let's talk about what is really happening. What you are calling AI is, in fact, an algorithm. These algorithms have been around for a while now. These algorithms can be set to reject if they don't find something or set to decline if they do. One of the most widespread algorithms is the home of the driver. If your zip code is not in their hiring area, the algorithm will kick out your application.

What you need to do is follow what @Chinatown has been saying for years. Keep filing applications!

Seems like everyone is using intelliapp these days. Might as well bite the bullet and sign up on your own, then click apply for the ones you actually want. Just be ready for dozens of fly by night recruiters to also blow up your email/phone.

Word of caution, what you enter on intelliapp NEVER goes away.
