One of the most famous radios on the market. Yes, you are right. I am talking about Stryker SR-955HPC 10 meter radio.

Let's discuss this beast. Below I have mentioned some features of this beast. I am not too much technical but I will do my best. And before comparing this beast with any other radio I want to say something that

"You’re not going to believe the performance. It’s loud and proud. I get 80+ watts from SR-955 I get a lot of compliments on my radio. They are top of the line as far as radios go. I’d rather get the stryker and if you need more power add an amp. It’s kind of like comparing apple to windows. Other radios are great for "old school" type of radio but the strykers have them beat as far as technology is concerned

    It is also "old school".

It uses the same layout as other radios, it lacks anything unique or new, shows nothing in progress other than the sale pitch.

I think if I took my Johnson 323 or other highly engineered radios against it, it would lose.

Nope. I guess most trucks have the WX band built into the stereo these days. I just tune in the WX band on my 2 meter VHF radio. Has the best reception.
