Vehicle manufacturers are governed by mandates and persuasive manufacturing sales reps. All of them just trying to sell their product lines. These products were the particulate filters, DEF and other technologies that try to filter out all the waste produced by an engine running on a dirty carbon based fuel.

Another little known product was developed about 30 years ago and was perfected by field engineers (like me). Mechanics tell me that all of the emissions products used today take care of the problem after it becomes a problem. Where the other way takes care of the problem "before" it becomes a problem. In other words if nothing came from the exhaust manifold but clean hot air, why would there be a need for DEF and the other added accessories? Taking care of the problem beforehand also increases horsepower and fuel efficiency where DEF does nothing of the sort.

So what is the other way? To understand how it works you first have to know about the problem. Everything on this planet is made up of energy. The trees, the water, the animals and even us. The entire planet itself has a magnetic north and south poles which transfer energy around the globe. A compass has no battery or motor, but that little needle still moves towards magnetic north without much effort. So of all the energy some of it has a positive polarity and some of it is negative. Water is negative and salt is positive. This is why salt quickly dissolves into water (they are attracted to each other). Water hardness or calcium-carbonate is also a negative polarity. This is why it clings to the plumbing system. It can't dissolve into the water since they are the same polarity.

Some of the fuel molecules are positive and some are negative. So the positive molecules are attracted to the negative ones and fuel clusters are created. Some scientific websites call them hydrocarbon clusters. Now in order for fuel to reach combustion it needs to come in contact with oxygen. Since the oxygen can only reach the outside of the clusters, it can only ignite the outside molecules (approximately 68% of the fuel cluster). The rest is pollution and this is why all the emissions gear is required.

What we did was convert all of the fuel to a positive polarity right before it reaches the injectors, carburetor, firebox, etc.. This made all of the clusters bust apart since the same polarity repels from each other. It's a lot easier to burn a singular hydrocarbon molecule than a cluster of them. To further increase the burn rate we converted the oxygen coming into the equipment to a negative polarity. So now the negatively charged oxygen molecules are attracted to the positive polarity fuel. The result was a 94% burn rate or a 42% gain.

Several years later it was discovered that if we could increase air into an engine using special air filters, more of the carbon monoxide would convert to carbon dioxide and the hydrocarbon emissions would become zero. We tested this at various emission stations across the US. The technicians were amazed by the results and told us that with zero emissions, the horsepower and fuel efficiency must be really high.

Sometimes I watch TV shows where they are trying to make a car go really fast and laugh because they are burning only 68% of the fuel. The rest goes into the catalytic converter where the unburned fuel is converted to carbon dioxide and water. With the high heat this turns to steam. Great for the environment, but a waste of energy. We haven't approached NASCAR with this, but a few tractor pulls were altered. The air unit was covered with a coffee can and painted John Deere green :)

    Diesel combustion fact:
As you increase combustion temperatures, the side effect is increased NOx (Nitrgoen Oxide) gas production, and the lower the soot production.
As you decrease combustion temperatures, the side effect is dramatically increased soot production and lower the NOx gases being produced.
Can't change it, that's how it works.
The EPA has labeled NOx gas a carcinogen as well as the primary component in acid rain and smog.
The EPA's goal is zero NOx gas production, hence the introduction of EGR gas to displace a percentage of the O2 (Oxygen) in the charge air, thus decreasing combustion temps as well as NOx.
The DPF is in the system to capture the soot, after all soot is the particulate. The soot and carbon coming into the combustion chamber with the EGR gas that blows by the rings is captured by the oil.
The SCR is a further treatment to help eliminate the NOx that is produced.
You CAN NOT burn diesel without NOx production, hence the aftertreatment system.

So if you have miraculously eliminated NOx gas by increasing combustion temperatures, and increased diesel combustion heat release rate efficiencies to 9X%, please share the science of how this was done.
You would be a God in the EPA's eyes.
You would be known as the savior of the Owner/Operator with the massive reductions in maintenance cost.
You would be loathed by the engine manufacturers, as you would instantly crash their massive revenue sources of after treatment parts and engine failure repair services.
