Do you mean you are going to have your own authority & run your own trucking company or lease a truck onto a trucking company and own-operate 1 truck.

I would STRONGLY suggest you work in the industry before you bet real money on making a profit.

Do you need help with understanding a business plan or trucking?

Seems like you need both. The structure of this forum or any other is not likely to give you the help you need.

I sure we can come up with some bad answers for both inquiries.

 

Why do you need to write out a business plan? What do you even put in this business plan?

If you are borrowing money from a lender that lender will want to see how you will make money with the money they lend to your business. Of course you could find a lender who doesn't check any of that (your personal bank account perhaps?) and doesn't care about making money on what is loaned to the business for operating and startup costs...

 

It’s impossible to write a business plan that will be of any use getting a loan for a industry you have no knowledge of. Get a CDL and job first and after a year or two you can start on a business plan.

Ok didn't know that since1993 I've bought a total of 6 trucks and two trailers with bank and finance companies never had a written business planor were ask to have one..who are you dealing with that ask for a written business plan to buy a truck?

 

Are you buying a truck or wanting to borrow a million dollars to start a multi truck company and a terminal..never been ask for a written business plan to buy a truck or trailer?
