Ah, Capstone... my last unload with those clowns was in Fountain, Colorado, and it took them EIGHT HOURS to unload sixteen pallets of breakfast cereal from my truck, nine cases of which they destroyed in the process and put back on the trailer for me to deal with before moving on with my life. I love sweeping up mountains of Lucky Charms at 10pm.
Ya coulda hooked up with a milk hauler on here and had one hell of a bowl of cereal! Mnnmm. Love me some Lucky Charms!
Yeah, it was because drivers aren't allowed on the dock, and they only release the dock lock after the paperwork is all finished and they've collected their stupid fee. In other news, I have a lot of boxes of cereal at the house now. A LOT. So...it isn't all bad, I guess. Lucky Charms and Golden Grahams for days.
Not all of them are bad. Just recently I got unloaded by Crossroads Service Group lumpers and those boys were quick as heck. I remember a 'Love##somethingoranother##' also that had it together. There's just no hope for Capstone
they should have to refund our $$$ and pay us something if we are not unloaded in 2 hours after bumping the dock,in addition to receiver detention
At another Capstone craphole in NC. 3 hours and $150 gets the trailer a little less than 1/2 empty. 37k in the box.
