    Isn't it the tie downs for stuff in the bed? Usually in a cardboard box in the backseat on the floor.

    Thanks! Makes sense. Didn't know they keep those cleats in the cabin. Just got a claim for one of those boxes missing.

    I was extending the bridge and had a strap on improperly and ripped the steel about a foot before I realized. Straps>steel apparently lol

    Not certain what caused this, but fortunately no one was reported injured. It happened yesterday in Chicagoland near Willow Springs exit on 294. @LtlAnonymous did you happen to be around at that time?     I saw the smoke in the air as I was passing through the area. Everyone on the road did. It was pretty crazy.

    I got home after work and watched the footage on the local news web sites. Absolutely crazy.

    My sources are telling me it was a certain outfit out of Eldon that I use to drive for. If this is indeed the same wreck a blown steer tire is the cause. Driver was shook up but made it out alive.
