I hauled a 2012 Rover HSE. On pick up the skinny lil woman, looked like one of those "perfect people" said " dont f#$k up my car" from there on I said i better take plenty of pics. and i did. At drop off her friend was complementing me on how professional we were, gave a Tip and all that good stuff. 2 days ago she called sayin she ust had a chance to drive the car and her 10 year old son noticed the door handles on the pass side were pulled off. WTH. She said she was afraid to say she was about to file a claim. then i said Well mam i have the before and after pictures, and a signed contract from you sayin that the car was recieved as it was shipped. LOL. Then she started to call me a MF, and a A@@hole and this was total BS. and I wasnt gonna haul another car ever in my life smh. people get upset when you spoil their con games HAHA. funny thing is i took close ups of the handles haha. people these days. when i have a chance honestly im leaving this business and getting with the family hauling Refer.................not the drug haha but my time of playing super car hauler flippin fingers to my older bro because im pullin more loads has come to an end. People want you to haul for peso's then cut your throat. smh not worth it. BUT i must say i love this kinda work lol not leavin soon because that "when i have a chance" moment wont come

Taking pics is a great idea, but how long do you keep them before deleting them? When I was towing I always took pics of high end vehicles just to cover my ###, but the funny thing is the only 2 complaints I ever had came from an early 90s POS Corolla and about a 5 year old Cavalier with a body kit. The Corolla had a blue interior and a brown steering wheel/column. When I picked it up it wouldn't steer AT ALL. The wheel just turned freely as you please. I thought that was why it was being towed, then the boss gets a call saying I messed up their steering system. He asked me about it then proceeded to set them straight real quick. The other was some dude who WATCHED ME LOAD his Cavalier on a rollback with 2x10 boards to get a better loading angle, making SURE his front spoiler didn't drag. He then watched me unload the same way and all was good. He even complimented me on how good I was taking care of his car. After I get paid and leave, he calls raising cane, demanding we buy him a new front spoiler. He brought it by and it was obvious he had been pulling to far into parking spots and dragging it over the curb. The scuffs and busted fiberglass were all faded, obvious that the damage had been there for a while. Usually when something like that is fresh, the color is shiny and you can just tell it's recent damage. Luckily other than those 2 a-holes I haven't ever had a damage claim. Once I find a truck and get started, I'm definitely going to be taking a lot of pictures, just curious how long everyone keeps them for? I usually kept them for about 2 weeks, is that sufficient?
