    I guess maybe I should rephrase what I said. I'm expecting that I'll need to pay my dues by doing OTR for the first year or so, but I know it's possible that I may luck and find something local. Still, isn't the experience of doing OTR worth it? It seems if that's in your background it'll open up more opportunity. Just a thought. Thanks to all who have responded to my thread.

    i applied online for a pepsi driver-bay delivery job! i finally got an email yesterday to schedule a phone interview..i guess i did ok, they want me to go in for a face to face interview next week..i'm so anxious to get this job, since i dont have any over-the-road exp. i've had my class a cdl for a few months now, and thought i was burdened with the fact i was going to have to go otr, but hopefully not. one thing is though, they said i would start out at 10.oo dollars an hour. i figured they paid more than that, but hey, i'm happy to get whatever i can if it's driving for a union job such as pepsi :biggrin_255:
