I read another one of his posts somewhere on here...that he was "going to start his own truckers website for new guys"....I think that's what he said..because this site is hard to get accurate information from and disorganized......stop feeding this guy answers let him disappear , because it obvious to me he doesn't believe a word we say to him

Yeah, thats a site I'd love to see.

It's not hard to get answers to questions in here at all. And I came here before getting my CDL a few years ago. But to make it easier to get answers, all you have to do is ask the question ONCE... NOT 10 TIMES, and use the SEARCH feature.

That is what is so maddening. I don't blame him for asking questions, even the ones that make me bang my head on the desk, but how many times can you ask the same question and not understand the answer?

I still submit that if diesel fumes, the smell of truck stops, dirt, grime, exhaust and noise are a concern, and lets not forget "how hard it is to shift because you have weak wrists", then THIS VOCATION IS NOT FOR YOU.

I wasn't just referring to this forum in particular, it's just that a forums by its nature will have tons of useless info for every useful one.

Maybe it's the nature of the questions that produce so much useless information...............

Wouldn't yours suffer the same fate? An important skill is being able to see the forest through the trees.

You will never find the gold without sifting through the muck.

Just be careful independent contractors that do not report any earnings for several years in a row are being targeted for IRS audits. Be sure you have all your receipts to back up your deductions.
