Yeah, the Portland office lost a 13 year driver, who went out to haul equipment. Came back 11 months later. Not only did he lose his seniority, but He came back to soon and lost out on the 5k sign on bonus.viper822004 and Cali kid Thank this.

Well, I got the official "thanks, but no thanks, kid" notification from that rest-n-roll position.
With that, I have been rejected by all three "major league" cryo outfits in my area.
My two-year experiment to find decent local work, either behind the wheel or in a shop, is officially over.

When things get tight, fleets get super picky. Just get your experience up and the doors will open in time. Hell when I started hauling fuel that company wouldn’t even look at you without five years of driving experience!scythe08 and homeskillet Thank this.

I think they just lease trucks now. They have list of drivers waiting on job…like always now. Terrible place, just terrible. To me it seemed like an office culture that hates drivers.
