    Told ya!
I ended up not coming back to Linde. I couldnt handle living in Portland Again. I'm going to stay where I'm at for a bit and save some money and plan where I want to go. I was apartment hunting over there and the second time I came into town, I just couldnt handle the traffic, the violence and the Portland attitude and dealing with the fleets of homeless RVs spawning everywhere.

Sadly -- I think you've made a wise decision here.

Portland has pretty much turned into a dystopia--& you clearly don't want that for a work environment.

Yeah, Portland is rough as hell. Fxg has been sending me down there fairly often, i’m pretty sure i saw a little tent city on fire.

What’s happening fellas, just got back from vacation end of this last month and don’t you know it we a re slammed. That’s the only issue when you run for a smaller terminal and your product line doesn’t have a lot of plants if one goes down.

From what I understand, the CO2 plant in Ferndale, WA was down(or is still down) for over 5 weeks, and all hell broke loose. There were 18-25 rails cars shipped to portland, not all made it of course, and the ones that were there, they couldn't get spotted. The Vancouver fill zone can only offload 2 cars at a time before the operators have to come switch cars. . Customers were allotted certain amounts, so alot of loads had 3+ stops., and guys were driving down to the Benicia, CA Plant to load and bring product back. I think they had 5 C&D drivers helping out as well, plus training 2 new guys

Hmm. What if you’re in the middle of unloading and the chopper needs to land?
