When Covid was in full bloom those that had hospital accounts were super busy. Six days a week and were even given big bonuses for working extra days.

No news is good news, I guess. 2 weeks ago, The recruiter had said the Hillsboro 'Manager' planned to interview, but wouldn't be for a few weeks, that he had things in play and wouldn't be available. Radio silence since them. I know Linde moves at glacial speed, so I'll be patient. Before, with CO2, the Manager of Portland, Fife, And Ferndale contacted me directly and everything was much more expedient. I never dealt with a recruiter until I onboarded. Hiring has definitely slowed down. They had a big push last month, and now there's only a handful of jobs listed, with several being Barns that always have turnover, like Garfield, Utah. and the Barn in Tualatin.

I remember when I was training. At a Matheson plant. There was a tank of I think Oxygen looking like that. Just sitting at the plant. Could of been nitrogen. But I think that plant often sent 3rd parties to deal with thatviper822004 and scythe08 Thank this.

For anyone interested, Air Products is now hiring regional drivers in the northeast, Midwest and in the south. This is a brand new position they’ve never offered before.
Also, hiring team hydrogen drivers in California and New Orleans.
And lastly, hiring Team drivers to haul helium out of Kansas. -
The Airgas plat is down so the drivers are loading at our plant for a bit.
They say they are looking for rest and roll drivers in St Paul.scythe08, 77fib77 and viper822004 Thank this. -
In the south?
From what locations/terminals?
How close does a driver need to live to a relevant hiring terminal?

Well, more like Texas lol. Out of Houston and Dallas. Not sure how far you have to live but you’ll be out 3 weeks and home for 1 week.
You might be able to drive to your local AP and start your hitch from there.RockinChair and scythe08 Thank this. -
How’s KAG’s merchant gas division? Talked with two recruiters today about a 3/1 OTR position. Said I’d have to talk to a guy in Longview about details related to parking, routes….

Hmm I question if that Southern Pines truck I saw in Kittery Me today was working for Air Products or Messer now.scythe08 and viper822004 Thank this.
