The only close plant to you is Praxair in Garland. Everyone else is going to be over an hour out.

Is anyone familiar with Call and Demand? That's what KAG will have me doing should decide to head to orientation next week.

If I decide not to do it, I will let them know on Monday am. I won't just ghost them and have them wonder where I am come Tues morning on the 1st day of orientation. So I have a lot of praying to do tonight and tmrw. Decision day is fast approaching. I'm doing end-dump and pneumatic local now btw...

    "Call & Demand"?...

That's basically when KAG will provide cryogenic services where the private fleets don't have the manpower/resources to do the same.

Expect to be pulled off that assignment if/when the relevant private carrier no longer needs the "outside" help.

    Lather, rinse....& repeat.

Advantage: you thus get some cryo experience in different places/situations.....as time goes by. It's probably a good way to decide if cryo work is really what you like & want -- without the full commitment of working with/for one of the private carriers. The hiring/onboarding process there at KAG is also probably MUCH SHORTER.

Disadvantage: the work is not as consistent as that at the private carriers. The pay is...in most cases....not as impressive, either.

I am not a believer but what I can tell you is that if you never try it you will always wonder what it could’ve been.

I was in a similar situation before I started with Air Products. Was set to start on Wednesday with a different company when Air Products called. It was a hard decision but in the end decided that if I didn’t proceed with AP I may never get another opportunity or ever know what cryo was about. You can always find a different company. We’ve all done it many times.

I'm supposed to go to KAG Merchant gas on Monday. They told me Longview or Amarillo. Ended up being Amarillo, which is twice as far as Longview. I'm in the Dallas area (Plano). It's supposed to be the Call and Demand. I have no idea what I would be hauling

The KAG gigs out of Texas are solo. I confirmed that with recruiter a couple days ago. Pre-existing teams would be accepted. But they aren't making us team up

Gotcha. My background is crystal clear. Was just curious. Would be cool delivering to military bases. I miss the military sometimes
