There are two (2) "sides" to this company.

One is the "Genox" side. All drivers on this side are either leasing their tractor--or they otherwise own the tractor (i.e., "power only"). You will be pulling the company's cryogenic trailers.

The other side is "Genox West"...and is comprised of company drivers.

I have no specific feedback (yet, anyway) on what life is like inside "Genox West".

I have spoken at length with more than one driver who has been running on the "Genox" side....both drivers seemed rather happy with things.

I would wager that...unless you are somehow a bit of a slouch or a troublemaker (or you otherwise have a "difficult" personality)....then you should have a good experience there in Genox...from what I have heard.

They are a small cryo carrier the subs out to the larger manufacturers for spot market work. Maybe a few hundred trucks.
Either stationary work, like refinery or other turn around or repair work. Sometimes oilfield work, or they cover for the big 3 when work exceeds capacity.
Decent equipment it seems but I know they spend a long time on the road, as they may work a project for months at a time.
Don't know what they pay or benefit info but believe we pay contractors 1500 per day so we try and minimize farming out work but it is sometimes necessary in the business.
Seems like someone always needs extra help but they would seem to be dependent on the economy of the big 3.
Might be a choice if you don't live near a producer but want to enter the cryo field.

    @lual @Dennixx

The ads are for Genox West. They got 2 ads. One for a night shift driver and one for regional driver. I’m not sure if that’s still a home daily job or not. They both advertise hourly pay. $36 for night driver and $33 for regional driver. The recruiting department gave me the terminal manager’s phone number. I will inquire with her next week.

Reed Hurst does the same thing on the west coast. Has yards in Pocatello, Cortez CO,Cheyenne, Price utah, and I think a few more. They used to have over 20 cryo trailers just sitting in a yard in Cortez. Never met anyone driving for them though. I've seen ads everywhere for them, but their pay is very good from what Ive read.

Well they are a common carrier so that can be a plus if you like to run the road. Depending on your location this could mean dedicated type work or just go where the work is. I know they have both lease operators and company drivers. I feel they lack in the training aspect of Cryo though as most of the drivers I’ve dealt with do some sketchy stuff. You will pull Genox owned trailers and the private fleets, so if you’re new to the industry this can be quite the challenge as not all trailers are the same. The same thing applies to customer tanks.

So I spoke to the terminal manager at Genox. She told me the regional position is running at night as well. I thought it was a daytime position since it advertised lower pay than the local night shift driver position. She told me that actually pays the same as the local night shift driver, which is $36/h. I told her I was only interested in a home daily day shift. She said those don't open up that often, but also said none of her night time drivers have summited any interest for days, which I find surprising. Maybe because it pays a little less, which is $33/h. She said one of her daytime drivers might retire this summer and that I would be the first on the list for external candidates since I was the first person to talk to her. I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but you never know.

    Lots of options out here.
We just had a 20+ year guy bail today.
Couldn't handle the bs no more.
I myself was talked in to staying another year by our driver manager.
We have one third of our roster w less than 2 yrs here so a large learning curve still.

How long would you say newly hired drivers where you work last?
