20250630_194629.jpg Does anyone save there washers after loading or delivery? I guy I use to work with told me to put them in a bucket. Then take them to metal recycling center at the end of the year. Its usually $250 plus. Thats nice folding cash for something that people just throw across the delivery site.

We use PTFE gaskets. Only time I see those is on new installs and third party tanks that aren't ours.

Maybe thats why we went away from those when I ran LIN,LOX,LAR. Switched over to white Teflon gaskets.

We use the green Teflon ones and Chicago uses the white ones.
Still have a few copper ones that I'll put on a distorted face of a fill connection, but I believe we switched years ago because of the degradation and contaminants of copper especially on food and medical accounts.

So I just asked them about that. Currently the contract is for 3 years. But currently they got someone new just starting that's for 5 years. But that one requires a year of hazmat experience. I'm guessing because it's new so they want someone who knows a little bit of what to do.

Am told even though approved. Currently customer might not need as many drivers delivering currently. So they will call me later to know if should wait until actually busy

    Dennixx and viper822004 Thank this.

So was told today. Because of weather currently customer doesn't need that many drivers servicing them. So might have to wait until later to join. Which is fine better waiting until joining now with nothing for me to do

    viper822004 Thanks this.
