Usually the Squirt trucks (class B tank wagons) are for "LGE" Linde Gas and equipment, which is different than "LGUS "Linde Gases which is what Dennix and I Do. But, as our terminals, each LGE is going to be different. The LGE terminal here has triple the equipment we do. They have squirt trucks, full sized trucks and trailers, Flatbeds and curtain sides for cyclinders. Its actually really impressive. Youre going to have to talk to a recruiter and get information specific to the terminal you are interested in. I dont see very many ads for LGE here in Portland, BUT Matheson shares the same driveway with them and does the same cyclinder hauling and they're always hiring. We've probably stolen a few of their guys lol. I think you'll enjoy it.

Aw man. One of my best friends moved back to Rapid City several months and has had a heck of a time getting a decent driving gig. He finally found one doing belly dump, but had to go through several companies first. I've thought about heading that way myself. I love Spearfish and deadwood. I dont know what Hurst does in Rapid. I know they're down in Cheyenne. I honestly dont know how they operate. Their trucks that I see at our facility in Medford are always parked for the night, but are sleeper trucks. So I dont know if they do out and backs or what.Dennixx Thanks this.

Hey, Air Products would be a good choice!
AP doesnt do cylinders, all of our stuff is in bulk. We have bulk and microbulk. Microbulk drivers are class B and work only Mon-Friday, day shift, off on weekends and holidays. -
Are you aware if they are doing slip seating or not?viper822004 Thanks this.
-
Yes. You have to because each truck has a different product. Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Co2.
Depending on what product you're delivering that day is what you drive.DanOMac Thanks this. -
My apologies I mean as far as say someone is 1st shift and they immediately hand the truck over to the next guy on 2nds. That's what I was told airgas did at least for the microbulk driver job I originally was hired for but ultimately decided against it. Not that there's anything per se wrong with it but it sounds like a mechanical nightmare I won't speak on cleanliness
viper822004 Thanks this. -
We only have first shifts for microbulk. Start in the morning, get your run done and you go home. Nobody comes after you.

Sounds like a sweet gig assigned trucks the way to goviper822004 Thanks this.
