There are pictures on the walls at the office dating back to the 90's. There used to be 11 or so drivers based out of there way before Linde bought US Cryogenics, and it was another company before that. Linde just took over the lease and kept renewing it. Its stunning the amount of money they had paid for it over the years. Theres some really cool pictures of of the various trucks that were based out of there.

History is a funny thing here.
I started here in Inver Grove 13 yrs ago.
They used to have pictures and plaques and mileage awards along with drivers who retired and were long gone and their tenure. After they remodeled the office and drivers room it all never got replaced.
Shortly thereafter they stopped with the safety and ATA awards.
We used to have rodeo's and driving contests, barbecues etc.
I guess we went from important and valued employees to just another cog in the machine.
Stuff probably got tossed..
Can't wait to retire next year and see what the next iteration of drivers brings forth.dwells40, REO6205, Weeble Kneeble and 4 others Thank this. -
That’s where I ran teams, at FedEx Ground too. Yeah those 34 hour resets sucked! That’s why I think teams here would be a breeze. 5 out and 2.5 back is a cake walk.Cali kid Thanks this.

That is EXACTLY our barn! There are so many awards and plaques that they ran out of room and there 4 rooms! There were boxes of awards and plaques stacked up in the training/meeting room going back 15-20 years. Funny thing is, like your barn, they stopped several years ago. We got several back packs, cups, hats, and gift cards for various thing, which were very welcomed.Rugerfan, viper822004 and Dennixx Thank this.

We have a hospital we service where the tanks are close enough to the helicopter pad that if a inbound flight is arriving we have to stop delivery and button everything up and move.
A good hour delay.
Happened 3 out of 4 of my last times delivering here, after a dozen yrs of never seeing a life flight at the hospital.
dwells40, Cali kid, Gearjammin' Penguin and 3 others Thank this. -
Have they talked about maybe moving the tank to a different spot?Gearjammin' Penguin, scythe08 and Dennixx Thank this.

If they can put LOX and LIN tanks a stone throw away from SpaceX Launch pads I don’t see why they wouldn’t a Helipad!
viper822004 Thanks this.
