@Cali kid should be able to answer this question since he’s at Airgas. But for $167k I think that’s OTR team. Usually local work guys make 95k-115k or some up to 125k in some areas.

I am at Air Products and that pay over here is equivalent to the Hydrogen team drivers. They’re out 5 days and come home for 2 days. Local drivers are back home every day and you’ll get a layover 1-2 times a month or more if you want to. Here everyone gets paid the same, senior or new employee, we all make the same amount per mile or hourly.

Depends on location and when you apply for position it should be made clear if it’s a team/OTR or local position. Teams can reach up to 200k and I cleared almost 160k this year as a Liquid Hydrogen driver running mostly local. Came from AirProducts, worked there for five years. Been at Airgas for 1.5yrs. We typically don’t have split wages so once your done with training and sometimes in training you should be at top rate.

If you're saying that I have the potential to make $160,000 a year and be home daily, then I most definitely in, or at least that's what I hope I'm hearing.

But he has Cali wages and also in California they run solo hydrogen because they’re more ahead in that game. Not sure if the rest of the country runs solo hydrogen. I think it’s mostly teams, but you should still make over 100k as a solo driver. Home daily. Better if it’s a union shop.
