I also feel cursed like everything that could go wrong, goes wrong for me. Im currently stuck in in the middle of Pilot parking and i cant move cuz airline has a hole. I shouldve listened to the guy in December about replacing the air lines. Someone is comin out here to replace them. I feel super embarrased cuz im blockin people view.

 

Should be like me. Put yourself, HOS and truck/trailer condition above everything. If something needs to be replaced with the truck. Get it done asap.

 

I have spent pretty much the last couple days waiting on Penske to do anything. SPT/PGT chosen to use them for maintenance. They be trash. Might as well be contacting someone from Swift.

Currently waiting on them to jump start a pony motor. Also check out my trucks airbags. Because after dropping them to unhook from a trailer. They won't go up. I wonder if I came out from other trailer too fast. Because I was sent to grab one. Original trailer pony motor did nothing when I attempted to start it. So was told to grab other one. Because it atleast tried to start.

 

If that's the case. Then I can guess who they had you call to help. I would ask who their sending to train you. In case it's someone I trained with. But probably best to not say that in public. But feel free to dm me

When i was with CFi back then, if i needed somethin done on the truck during winter it would be asap, most of the time 1-2hours, i guess its because they are huge company and they have the money to throw around. With Penske the call time and the wait times for someone to come out is insane. Today i got lucky they found a guy who came in 1hour and he fixed airlines and put the good ones on cuz i asked for them, i was like "dont give me the plastic ugly coil ones plz". I also had trouble with Pony Motor again and in my head my thought was "Im drivin directly to Penske im not waitin around" guess what? The amount of wait time ended up being the same as yesterday 4hours to be helped it didnt even matter that i got there at 8am.

 

I wonder how the crazy negative temperature areas are handling things. Since what we do your required to be outside. I talked to another SPT driver in Arkansas. They was going to have him go to Iowa. He looked at the weather -30F. Which has me to believe the private carrier. Matheson, AirProducts and/or etc. Has drivers refusing to go out in those temps. So is hoping we will do it instead. Which I won't do

 

Never heard of any of our drivers refusing to work because of the cold.
Snow yes but I guess we have gear for the cool weather up north. -29
